TRANSPORT FROM PROVIDENCIALES TO FISHING IN NORTH CAICOS:
In order to experience the fishing in the Turks and Caicos when staying on the main island of Providenciales, you must consider visiting the flats of North Caicos.
In order to get there, it is necessary to take a ferry. The departure point is only about 10 minutes from the Grace Bay area and the ferry runs strictly to schedule with up to six arrivals/departures each day.
Anglers coming from Providenciales catch the 7.30 AM ferry from Leeward, arriving North Caicos at 8am.
You will be met from the ferry and transported to the boats – expect to have lines wet on the flats by 8.30am.
We will be fishing over four or five good flats until around 2pm at which point we head for the dock – expect to catch either the 3pm or 4.30pm ferry returning to Providenciales
The ferry charge is $65 round trip from Providenciales to North Caicos- there is no need to make reservations
Note however that this service is Monday – Saturday; the first ferry on Sundays and Holidays is 8.00am returning on the 4.30pm departure from North Caicos.
