Your bonefishing trip with ThThe Great Bonefishing company offers a wide range of fishing excursions from our base on North Caicos. We have decades of experience exploring and discovering the bonefishing that the flats of the surrounding waters have to offer.
North Caicos is an easy day trip from Providenciales, witha reliable and regular ferry service that starts at 6.30am directly to Sandy Point Marina on North Caicos. The ferry takes thirty minutes and transfer to the fishing area is another fifteen minutes or so from arrival depending on the flats that we target that day.
The island is blessed with miles of unfished and unspoiled flats that hold fish throughout the year and productive water can be found only minutes from the dock and in some cases directly from the beach.
Our guides each have decades of experience fishing the waters of North Caicos and we carry a full range of premium tackle for both flyfishing and conventional fishing for your bonefishing trip. Our boats range from 16ft flats skiffs that will comfortable fish a singler angler to larger 18ft Hewes flats boats equipped with 150HP Mercury and Suzuki outboards that are capable of fifty miles an hour to cover vast amounts of territory quickly !
Preferred tackle is fast 8-wt or medium fast 9wt fly outfits with at least 250yds of backing, or medium spinning outfits with similar line capacity. Getting to Providenciales is straightforward, with direct flights available from Boston, New York, Charlotte, Atlanta and Miami.
